At Ultimate we have state of the art equipment, certified coaches, and classes/teams for all ages and levels. You can decide from all of our various programs, such as recreational cheer classes to competitive teams, to tumbling classes, to open gyms. We offer something for everyone.

Ultimate follows the International All Star Federation rules and guidelines for cheerleading. This universally-recognized organization for competitive cheerleading has determined that tumbling be the primary factor when dividing athletes and teams into skill levels. We offer three types of cheerleading teams:

  1. Recreational (or Rec) - practice once a week. No uniform costs. No competition Costs or travel. Work as a team. Fun, entry-level team.
  2. Competitive Rec - Practice once-twice a week. Low uniform costs. No tumbling requirements. Fewer competitions than our competitive division. Great step before committing to competitive program.
  3. Competitive - Practice once-twice a week. 5-7 competitions a year. Mandatory apparel and uniforms. some competitive teams travel for competitions.

What is the Star Program? The star program is designed for those athletes that just can't get enough cheerleading training. STARs get:

  1. special priviliges and use of the gym and the equipment
  2. coach feedback during each STAR time slot allotted in the gym
  3. ability to video personal skills for placement on youtube for feedback
  4. ability to train with other serious athletes to further progress
  5. ability to become part of the Ultimate ELITE TEAM
  6. FREE CLASSES all year, including specialty classes
  7. FREE Open Gyms all year
  8. FREE workshops with expert tumblers and/or stunters at UCCD, at least 2 each year
  9. FREE STAR T-shirt

How do you get on the roster? If you are committed to becoming the best cheerleader that you can, then simply talk to Jerry, Nicole, or Tia at tryouts to let them know of your interest. There will only be one shot to be part of the roster each year, and that is at your tryout. Once you register for UCCD, you cannot join the STAR program later. It must be done at the same time you register.
