History:
In 2003, Doug and Judi Martin began Pro Spirit with one team, the Wildcats, which practiced at Pickering Aerials Gymnastics Center. In 2004, the name was changed to Ultimate Canadian Cheer, or UCC, and become a strong force for Canadian cheerleaing.
November 2007, Ultimate moved into a new building in Pickering. We have a huge 15,000 sqare foot facility with 15 strips of sprung competitive floor, two tumble strips, rod floor, tumble track, foam pit, dance studio, parent viewing area, and room to grow.
Currently, Ultimate has many competitive cheerleading teams, recreational cheer teams, dance teams, and several tumbling and dance classes for all ages and levels.
Ultimate also:
- Trains local high schools at our facility
- Has choreographers and coaches available for hire
- Has camps: summer, March break, and Winter break
- Provides educational training in dance, gymnastics and cheerleading for school curriculum
- Hosts PA Days
